National Theatre at Home: The Grapes of Wrath Starring Cherry Jones

While you can buy a subscription, shows are also available to rent individually. New to the roster is Frank Galati’s acclaimed adaptation of John Steinbeck’s landmark novel The Grapes of Wrath featuring Tony winner Cherry Jones as the matriarch of the Joad family, who travel west during the Great Depression hoping for better lives. Recorded live on stage earlier this year in London, the production costars Harry Treadaway and was directed by Carrie Cracknell. A 72-hour rental costs $10 and captions are available. It’s just one of many fantastic National Theatre shows you can stream, so be sure to browse the entire list.
