At 6 p.m. EST, innovative theatre company Ars Nova welcomes singer-songwriter Andrew R. Butler, who’ll perform numbers from his award-winning musical Rags Parkland Sings the Songs of the Future, which was a hit at the theatre in 2018. At 6:30 p.m. EST, cabaret haven Feinstein’s/54 Below continues its #54BelowatHome series with a live concert by David Yazbek, the Tony-winning songwriter of The Band’s Visit, The Full Monty and Tootsie. Tune in on Feinstein’s/54 Below’s Facebook page.
At 7:30 p.m. EST, the Metropolitan Opera continues its Wagner week with Götterdämmerung, starring Deborah Voigt, Wendy Bryn Harmer, Waltraud Meier, Jay Hunter Morris, Iain Paterson, Eric Owens and Hans-Peter König, and conducted by Fabio Luisi. The 2012 production was filmed for the company’s Live in HD series, and is available to watch for 23 hours after the start time at metopera.org. You can still stream yesterday’s opera, Siegfried, until 6:30 p.m. today.
At 8 p.m. EST, Colleen Ballinger from Waitress brings her irreverent Miranda Sings alter ego to Stars in the House. Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley’s twice daily series supports The Actors Fund, and you can watch on the organization’s YouTube channel.
