On Saturday, March 28 at 2 p.m. EST, Miss Saigon Tony winner Lea Salonga sings and chats on Stars in the House. This twice daily series hosted by Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley supports The Actors Fund, and you can watch on the organization’s YouTube channel.
On Saturday, March 28 at 7:30 p.m. EST, the Metropolitan Opera continues its Wagner week with Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg, starring Annette Dasch, Johan Botha, Paul Appleby and Michael Volle, and conducted by James Levine. The 2014 production was filmed for the company’s Live in HD series, and is available to watch for 23 hours after the start time at metopera.org. You can still stream Friday’s opera, Götterdämmerung, until 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
On Saturday, March 28 at 8 p.m. EST, Tony-winning dynamo Kristin Chenoweth returns to Stars in the House. Her appearance last week was a song-and-sass-filled delight, and we hope she becomes the show’s Saturday night regular.
